2. Non-Covered Scenarios

Repair costs will be borne by the user in the following cases:

Human-Induced Damage:

  • Physical damage from drops, crushing, liquid immersion, or exposure to corrosive substances
  • Tampering, disassembly, or repairs by unauthorized personnel
  • Non-Functional Issues: Cosmetic wear, ear tip/earmold deterioration, or accessories (e.g., tubes, filters)
  • Force Majeure: Damage from natural disasters (e.g., lightning, fire, floods) or uncontrollable events

Claim Process

Filing a Claim

Submit a request via ​support@sdlhearing.com​ with:

  • Proof of purchase;
  • Detailed description of the issue and usage context (photos/videos recommended)

Troubleshooting​: Our team will guide you through basic checks (e.g., battery replacement, cleaning blocked ear tubes) to rule out user-resolvable issues


Repair Service:

  • If covered under warranty, ship the device to our designated facility (shipping costs covered by us).
  • Repairs typically take ​5-7 business days; complex cases may extend to 15 days


Maintenance Guidelines

Routine Care

  • Clean ear tips daily, store in a drying kit to prevent moisture damage, and avoid extreme temperatures


Exclusions

  • This policy does not apply to second-hand purchases or devices acquired through unofficial channels
  • The manufacturer reserves the right to interpret and modify these terms
