2. Non-Covered Scenarios
Repair costs will be borne by the user in the following cases:
Human-Induced Damage:
- Physical damage from drops, crushing, liquid immersion, or exposure to corrosive substances
- Tampering, disassembly, or repairs by unauthorized personnel
- Non-Functional Issues: Cosmetic wear, ear tip/earmold deterioration, or accessories (e.g., tubes, filters)
- Force Majeure: Damage from natural disasters (e.g., lightning, fire, floods) or uncontrollable events
Claim Process
Filing a Claim
Submit a request via support@sdlhearing.com with:
- Proof of purchase;
- Detailed description of the issue and usage context (photos/videos recommended)
Troubleshooting: Our team will guide you through basic checks (e.g., battery replacement, cleaning blocked ear tubes) to rule out user-resolvable issues
Repair Service:
- If covered under warranty, ship the device to our designated facility (shipping costs covered by us).
- Repairs typically take 5-7 business days; complex cases may extend to 15 days
Maintenance Guidelines
Routine Care
- Clean ear tips daily, store in a drying kit to prevent moisture damage, and avoid extreme temperatures
Exclusions
- This policy does not apply to second-hand purchases or devices acquired through unofficial channels
- The manufacturer reserves the right to interpret and modify these terms
